Solidays Music Festival review and pictures

How five days has passed is NOT beyond me!  Life has been exciting and harried at the same time.  Where to start?   What to say?  Well, okay, first we will start with the best weekend ever!  In fact, I think last weekend just deserves it's own post and certainly it's own title.  I will have to do separate posts for the other stuff.  In a word: SOLIDAYS.  In two: SOLIDAYS ROCKS!

Solidays is a three day and ALL night long music festival PLUS.  Many hundreds camp there.  Our apt is about a 15 minute walk to the place, so we got to sleep in our bed but still felt like we were out of town because we were always at the festival or at home.  Let's just begin with the obvious appeal first.  They include: John Butler Trio, Israel Vibration, Moby, Morcheeba, Stromae, Alice Russell, Alpha Blondy, Raggasonic, Yael Naim, Asian Dub Foundation, Charles Bradley, Seun Kuti, Aloe Blacc and many, many more.

It is also a huge fundraiser to help people living with HIV in Africa.  It is to help them live, not to do research.  There was a lot of awareness raising at the festival as well.

There is just so much more to say about Solidays, but I am going to at least post the pictures, which hopefully will tell a thousand words... and go to bed.  It was really an amazing festival, super well-organized, great vibes, great energy and well, the music was wonderful!
